Fashion And Nature: Famous Designer Dresses Inspired By Nature
These designer dresses are true pieces of art. And what better place to get inspiration from than the Nature? We live in an amazingly beautiful world. Watching the sunset or the stars or going for a walk at some lovely place, can fill you with positive vibes for days. And it’s a pity that when we live in the big city and we are always in a hurry, buried with work and our everyday tasks, we miss most of the beauty that surrounds us. Well, at least we can wear it.
Nature with her rain and wind mud usually puts great effort into ruining spectacular dresses. But this Russian artist is putting them side by side in her series “Fashion & Nature”. Part of her “1 + 1” project, it juxtaposes dresses straight from the walkway with grand vistas of nature. And while the designers’ inspiration is largely unknown, the resemblance is uncanny. A sort of macro level camouflage meant for giants, if you will.
Around the world, throughout all forms of design, whether architecture or fashion design, nature is one of our biggest inspirations. The fashion industry has always been heavily influenced by nature, a fact that Russian artist Liliya Hudyakova highlights in this awesome series titled ‘Fashion And Nature’.
By placing the dresses on the left and the photographic equivalent of nature on the right we get to see just how similar the clothing can be. It’s an awesome comparison that you can see more of on Facebook and Tumblr.
